Renweb

RenWeb

New information has been added here — particularly in the section ‘how to use RenWeb’ below.

What is RenWeb?
RenWeb is a private web-based company that schools can use to make student information available online to both students and parents. This data includes grades, attendance, homework assignments, and anything else that teachers choose to post and make available –including documents they want their students to have access to. All such data is password protected, of course. The only persons, other than the responsible teachers or school officials that can reach an individual student’s data is that student, and that student’s parents. If you are a student or parent and would like to know how to use RenWeb, then read on!

How to use RenWeb
Before you can use RenWeb, you must have a logon name and password. This applies to all students and all parents. A family can share one parental logon, but in many cases both parents can have their own user names and their own associated emails registered so that teachers can reach either or both. If you are new to our school and don’t have a logon, then contact the ACA office, and make sure the school has your email address. This should be an address you regularly check. It will also become your user name. This can then be registered with Renweb by the school.

Returning users, be aware that your old login name will no longer work, but has been changed to your email address. REPEAT: For ALL users, both new and returning, Renweb has set your default user name to be the email address that you have given to the school to be used for Renweb. Go to the Renweb site: http://www.renweb.com/ and hover over the ‘logins’ tab, selecting the “Parents web login” from the drop-down list. A login screen should appear.  (There’s also a direct link on the front page of the ACA website)

Our district code is: ACPA-TX

Returning users should log in here with their email and password. If you have forgotten your password, Renweb will reset it for you and email you the new one. You no longer need to contact the school to reset your forgotten password. Renweb will auto-email you a new one directly. You have the option of customizing both your username and password to your preferences after you have logged in.

If you are doing this for the first time, select ‘create new ParentsWeb account’ for which you will only need to use your email address that you provided to the school. They will email you your new password.
